Responsible party
1. Scope and legal basis
This privacy policy applies to the RakenAI website at rakenai.com, to contact made through the website, and to audit requests routed from the website to the audit app at audit.rakenai.com.
RakenAI processes personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the related ordinance, and the general principles of good faith, proportionality, purpose limitation, and data security. If additional data protection rules apply in a specific case, those are also observed.
- visiting and technically delivering the website
- contacting RakenAI by form, email, or phone
- starting an audit request and setting up access to the audit app
2. Personal data that may be processed
RakenAI processes both data that users actively provide and technical data that arises when the website or specific functions are used.
- master and contact data such as name, email address, phone number, company, website, and message content
- audit-related data such as requested domain, market, free-text input, language, activation status, and security-check information
- technical usage data such as IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer, browser and device information, and server logs
- communication data generated when you contact RakenAI by email, form, or later through the audit app
3. Purposes of processing
Personal data is processed only for the purposes that are evident from this notice, from the relevant form, or from the circumstances.
- providing, maintaining, and securing the website
- answering enquiries and preparing offers or projects
- receiving, verifying, and processing audit requests
- setting up and managing access to the audit app
- measuring reach and improving the website
- preventing misuse, bots, security incidents, and unauthorised access
4. Recipients and processors
RakenAI discloses personal data only where necessary for operating the website, handling an enquiry, delivering the requested service, or complying with legal obligations.
Personal data may in particular be processed by the following categories of recipients:
- hosting and infrastructure partners used to operate the website and the audit app
- Google for website analytics through Google Analytics and for Google Fonts loaded directly by the browser
- Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse protection on audit forms
- Web3Forms for technical processing of the contact forms on the contact pages
- other technical service providers, support partners, or communication providers where required for operations, security, or project delivery
5. Cross-border disclosure
Integrated services and technical providers may process personal data in Switzerland, the EEA, the United Kingdom, the United States, or other countries. This may happen in particular where browsers load resources directly from third parties or where forms and security services are provided by external services.
Where personal data is disclosed to a country without a legally recognised adequate level of protection, RakenAI uses suitable safeguards or another lawful basis. This may in particular include recognised standard contractual clauses. Where providers are certified under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, disclosure may additionally rely on that mechanism.
6. Cookies, analytics, and external services
The website uses technical functions and external services that are relevant from a data protection perspective. These include analytics, security services, form processing services, and externally loaded font files.
The services currently used include in particular:
- Google Analytics with measurement ID G-YN6Q3FRRBW for website analytics and reach measurement. Google may process usage data, IP-related information, and cookie or similar identifiers in this context.
- Google Fonts. When the website is opened, the browser may load font files directly from Google servers.
- Cloudflare Turnstile. A security service is used on the audit forms to protect against bots.
- Web3Forms. The contact forms on the contact pages are submitted to this form-processing provider.
- The audit app at audit.rakenai.com. If you request audit access through the website, your information is transferred to the audit app and further processed there for account setup, access handling, and audit delivery.
7. Retention period
RakenAI does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the relevant purpose. The specific retention period depends on the nature of the enquiry, technical needs, statutory retention duties, and legitimate interests in documentation, security, and traceability.
- server and security logs are typically stored only for a limited time for operations, troubleshooting, and misuse prevention
- contact and project enquiries are retained for as long as required for handling, follow-up communication, or legal records
- audit leads, activation data, and account-related data are retained in connection with the audit app for as long as access exists, the service is used, or statutory or operational retention reasons require it
8. Rights of data subjects
Individuals whose data is processed by RakenAI may, within the scope of applicable law, in particular request:
- information on whether and which personal data is being processed
- correction of inaccurate data
- deletion or destruction of data where no retention duty or overriding reason prevents this
- release or transfer of certain personal data in a commonly used electronic format where the law provides for this
- objection to certain processing activities or withdrawal of consent for the future where processing is based on consent
- a complaint to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC)
9. Data security and automated decisions
RakenAI uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or unlawful disclosure.
This website does not use automated individual decisions within the meaning of Swiss law that produce legal effects or significantly affect data subjects in a comparable way.
10. Updates to this privacy policy
RakenAI may update this privacy policy where legal requirements, services, technical processes, or the offering change. The version published on this page is the relevant one.
